HSE Global’s 2024 Masterclass Series covers a range of health & safety topics from safety field experts. Dr Sherrilyn Shaw-Mills commenced investigating psychosocial hazards that caused ill-health and injuries in organisations over 20 years ago and conducted her Ph.D. research into the individual, organisation and psychosocial factors that caused ill-health and injuries in organisations. Dr Shaw-Mills will explore the elements, factors and hazards identified in both international and national literature and discuss the current national and state legislative requirements for the management of psychosocial hazards in Australia and management strategies to monitor psychological health and management within organisations.
